Wine Bar

Around the bar, the cedar table or on the sunny terrace, Cave des Silènes invites you to come over and share some friendly or familly times to taste beautiful wines in a sober, warm and cosy atmosphere.

The Wine List

• A selection of 16 wines by the glass (12 cl) – 8 white wines & 8 red wines from Chinon, Loire Valley & other wine regions.
• Bottle of wines: our taste-in wine list to taste in offers all the wines sold to take away in our wine shop. (Loire Valley wines or others).
• Cheese plates, Bruschettas, salads & deserts to eat-in.
• Wines but not only wines… we also have mineral water, fruit juice, iced tea, locally produced Loere sodas or classical sodas and coffee !

The mix use of wooden and metalic materials, gives a modern and friendly decoration style, without moving away from Touraine, our birthplace, its local apple cases used as bottle storage, its tailor-made cedar tables from a 300 year old Chinon cedar tree…
